Suresh Vasan

Suresh has over 25+ years’ experience in principal investing and advisory. Most recently, Suresh was a Senior Investment Advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Program Office (LPO). His role was to accelerate the execution of $300 billion in lending authority to spur low carbon energy investments. Prior to the DOE, he was a Partner at Energy Power Partners (EPP), a middle market renewable energy fund, responsible for general investment management and a member of the investment committee. He led the sale of the funds generating significant returns for its LPs. Prior to EPP, he was a Managing Director at Lazard focused on capital advisory for the energy and infrastructure sector. He also spent ~12 years at GE Energy Financial Services (GE Capital), responsible for sourcing, execution, risk management and board representation. Suresh has global exposure, having worked overseas in London, the Hague, and Dubai. Suresh graduated from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
