Galvanize Climate Solutions is a mission driven investment platform built to produce and scale vital climate solutions.

Joe works at the intersection of new technology and commercial application. Prior to joining Galvanize, Joe was the Program Manager for the Low Carbon Resources Initiative at EPRI, where he helped guide over $100M in research in deep decarbonization technologies. Prior to EPRI, Joe spent nearly 8 years in the federal government, helped start the SunShot Initiative and led the CSP and Technology-to-Market teams. He also had roles at ARPA-E, DARPA, and the White House Office of Management and Budget. Earlier in his career, Joe worked in the semiconductor industry at Micron and Sumco. He holds a BS in chemical engineering with a minor in business and a MBA, both from Ohio State University. He is currently completing his PhD at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He lives in Charlotte,North Carolina with his wife and their two children.
