Anant Udpa

Prior to joining Galvanize, Anant led impact measurement and management for a portfolio of 50+ grantees at the Overdeck Family Foundation, an education-focused venture philanthropy fund. Previously, Anant was an Associate at the impact investing firm Social Finance, where he designed and managed outcomes-based investments called social impact bonds to finance and scale evidence-based nonprofits across a range of issue areas, including health, education, and housing.

Anant’s experience also spans international development, design thinking, and impact investment advisory at various organizations, including Dalberg, IDEO.org, and the Omidyar Network. He began his career in public sector management consulting with Accenture.

Anant holds an MBA from MIT Sloan, an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a BBA from the University of Michigan. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and, in his spare time, enjoys cooking, crosswords, and running.
