Tom Yan

Tom Yan brings expertise in credit and debt financing across structuring, underwriting, and advisory. Prior to joining Galvanize, Tom was an associate and started his career at J.P. Morgan on the Corporate Banking team, covering the technology sector and advising clients on capital structure and a a variety of corporate finance topics. His transaction experience spans public and private syndicated and institutional debt raises, underwritten acquisition financing, and equity-linked debt instruments. Tom attended The University of Texas at Austin and majored in Finance. Having recently relocated to New York from San Francisco, Tom is looking forward to reconnecting with his northeastern roots, having grown up outside of Boston. In his spare time, Tom enjoys photography, traveling, playing ultimate frisbee, and spending time outdoors in any form – hiking, biking, skiing, scuba diving, and more!
